Apparently the phrase "act like you've been there before" also applies to fans in the stands who catch foul balls at Texas Rangers games. No matter what else they happen to be doing at the time.
A fan wearing a baseball glove and using a cell phone barely left his seat to catch a foul ball from Ian Kinsler (notes) in the first inning Wednesday night, and yet he didn't let the experience interrupt the conversation he was having. His nifty-but-casual play amused the folks around him, the announcers in Rangers' TV booth and, presumably, viewers like you. Rangers fan making a rather impressive catch of an Ian Kinsler foul ball during the first inning Wednesday night. The best part is, instead of celebrating, the fan just keeps talking nonchalantly on his cell phone. That's what the Rangers fan in the video below did in Wednesday's game against the Cleveland Indians.
In the very first inning, Rangers second baseman Ian Kinsler hit a scorching line drive to the stands on the first base side. A fan talking on his cell phone, very casually, stuck out his gloved hand and caught the ball, while continuing his phone conversation.
