The new upcoming movie from Tarsem Singh, Immortals, represents an outstanding mixture of epic film, adventures, fantasy and drama and stars Henry Cavill, Luke Evans, Mickey Rourke and Freida Pinto. The previous variants for the movie’s name were War of Gods and Dawn of War. However, under its official name – Immortals - the movie is scheduled to be released on November 11, 2011.
The director of Immortals, Tarsem Singh, tried to incorporate in this movie innovative 3D technology and classical grand Greek myths. In one of his interviews Tarsem commented that his major purpose was to make “an action movie using Renaissance painting styles.” Non-ordinary approach of the director and impressive budget are two major reasons to watch Immortals online.
The story of the movie develops as follows: the Titan Hyperion (Mickey Rourke) needs the Epirus Bow, a unique weapon created by Ares (Daniel Sharman), to free other Titans from Tartarus and revenge on Olympians. He declared war on humanity. Ancient laws do not allow gods being involved in this war. A peasant named Theseus (Henry Cavill) was chosen by Zeus (Luke Evans) to save gods and protect homeland. Theseus, an ordinary mortal man, will lead the fight against Hyperion.
